Community Garden

First Presbyterian Church has a Community Garden!  It was established in April 2016 by the Creation Care team of FPCOKC, but is open to all members of the community.

  • NW 24 & Olie (1 block east of Western)
  • Raised beds with enriched soil provided. Open to the community. To reserve a plot, call (405) 525-6584
  • There are 4 x 6′ and 12 x 12′ plots available without charge. Pesticide-free gardening.

Located in Paseo Neighborhood, the garden is just south of the church parking lot.

The first garden plots that have been reserved have gone to the National Honor Society of DOVE Science Academy, our local Mobile Meals kitchen (that provides meals to the homebound), and various families and neighbors.  Our SPARK after-school program as well as our Youth are tending to some plots, learning about sustainable living, environmental stewardship, and the power of food.

The Community Garden was dedicated on Saturday, April 23, 2016.
