Every Wednesday night during fall and spring, with a few exceptions, we hold KirkNight in Watchorn Hall. Activities for children begin at 5:00 p.m. and activities for both children and adults begin at 6:00 p.m.
KikrNight is a midweek opportunity for fellowship, devotion and study for both children and adults. Our night starts out with Worship Arts and Bible Crafts & Games from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. for children in pre-K through elementary. At 6:00 p.m., we hold Family Dinner Time where adults and children meet to eat as one church family. Beginning at 6:45 p.m., adults enter into Bible study while children have recreation time.
About Worship Arts (B-22): This is a time spent helping our children learn about worship and preparing to become active participants in the congregational worship experience. Worship Arts will also function as a time where we can prepare children for participation in our Christmas Eve service.
About Bible Crafts & Games (214): A time to provide our children with a midweek Bible-story experience. We will help them creatively engage with the story through a craft or other artistic expression beyond what we might have time for during class on Sunday morning.
About Family Dinner Time: The price for dinner is $7/adult, $4/child (under 12), with a maximum of $20 per family. Every week, we’ll have a different themed menu, and children, youth and adults will be encouraged to participate in that theme in some way. This may mean a chance to wear your clothes inside out or mismatched. There will be a fun table game, then children will be excused to go burn off some energy at recreation time.
About Bible Study: Adults meet for their own class time away from the children to study as well as hear special monthly speakers.
